Private detective Nick Dashell and his wife Darla find themselves stranded in a large estate after their car breaks down during a storm. Seeking shelter, they soon discover that the mansion is populated by a bizarre cast of characters, including a sarcastic butler named Duncan and a shady gentleman named Captain Trucage.

But things quickly take a turn for the mysterious when they learn that the phone lines are down and the roads are washed out. As they try to make the best of their situation, they find themselves embroiled in a series of inexplicable events, including the theft of Mrs. Ludos' necklace and the sound of gunshots.

Despite their initial reluctance, Nick and Darla soon find themselves drawn into the mystery. As they navigate the strange behaviors of the mansion's guests, they begin to suspect that there is more to the situation than meets the eye. And when one of the guests is found strangled in the kitchen, Nick and Darla become determined to solve the case.

Full of witty banter, bad accents, and unexpected twists and turns, A Murder Has Been Renounce is a thrilling and hilarious murder mystery play that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
